An SSH client for your iPhone or iPod Touch! This app can connect to any SSH server and provide an interactive terminal.

It implements a simple terminal emulator which supports the sending of ctrl keys, and can be used to connect to any standard ssh server including Linux, BSD, AIX, Solaris, OS X, Cisco, or even Windows as long as the SSH service is enabled.

You can choose which host and even which port to connect to, which makes this useful for non-standard SSH configurations as well as more conventional ones.

Works over Wi-Fi, Edge, and 3G networks.

Tethering
Can this app be used to tether an iphone to a laptop?
Oooooooo...... SSH.....
Its SSH, and it works. Its a bit hard to use: no support for landscape; the keyboard vanishes after every entry; the font size is miniscule (apparently to allow a 50-character width in profile mode, but awfully hard on my eyes) and relatively low-contrast (green on black); the terminal emulator is a bit primitive. It doesnt yet have the ability to customize font size, colors, behaviors, whether passwords can be saved... But it is a working SSH, and a good early effort. I look forward to future updates (like a zoomable screen, hint hint hint...).
Save your Money
I downloaded this hoping to be able to port forward. The only port I can connect to is 22, so I do not believe this portion of the app is working. I went to the website for assistance and none was found for this product. Until additional development is done, I would stay away from it and look at some of the other SSH applications out there.
This app need help
I have worked with a lot of SSH programs over the years, and this one is terrible. I think I should have read the reviews before purchasing this app. Hopefully Dan will fix this app before too long.
Text is a bit small ....
.... and I would really like it if it would support the accelerometer so I could rotate the phone and get a nice wide screen view. But it is great to finally have an SSH client on the iPhone. Im sure future versions will be better.
